How to find Eternal Life
You're not here by accident. Jesus loves you! He wants you to have a personal relationship with Him. However, there is just one thing that separates you from God. That one thing is sin.
People tend to divide themselves into groups---good people and bad people. But God says that everyone who has ever lived is a sinner, and sin separates a person from God. That includes you and everyone else.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
According to man's standards, people should be punished or rewarded according to how good they are, and it might be hard to understand how Jesus could love you when other people don't seem to. But we have great news for you, Jesus does love you, more than you can ever imagine, and there is nothing you can do to make Him stop.
Are you thinking that you should make things right in your life before you come to Jesus? Many people feel that way, but that's not what God says. What does His Word say?
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God says that you can't make yourself right with Him by being a better person. God wants to save you JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit." Titus 3:5
It's God's grace that allows you to come to Him---not your own efforts to "clean up your life" or work your way to Heaven. You can't earn it. It's a free gift.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
For you to come to God, your sin must be punished. God's gift to you is eternal life through His son, Jesus. He is the One who paid the debt for you when He was punished in your place on the cross.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"You were not redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold...but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." I Peter 1:18-19
Jesus paid the price for your sin and mine by giving His life on Calvary's cross. God brought Jesus back from the dead and paved the way for you to have a personal relationship with Him through Jesus.
All that's left for you to do is to trust the Lord for the salvation of your soul and accept the gift that Jesus is holding out for you right now. Repent and change your focus to be mindful of no longer living your life your way but rather God's way.
"if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:9-10
God says that if you believe in His son, Jesus, you can live forever with Him in glory.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Are you ready to accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering right now? If it is your sincere desire to ask Jesus to come into your heart as your personal Savior, then talk to God from your heart through the Sinner's Prayer:
A Sinner's Prayer for Salvation:
Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life, but I believe You died and rose from the grave to secure a place in Heaven for me. Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins and save me. I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation, and I accept Your free gift of eternal life.

Okay, I've trusted Jesus to be my Savior and I'm a Christian; now what do I do?
1. Read your Bible daily
"Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." Psalms 119: 105
2. Pray
"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6
"Pray without ceasing." I Thessalonians 5:17
3. Be baptized and worship with other Christians
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19
"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another and so much more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:24-25
4. Tell others about Jesus
"He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15
"But you all receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to Me." Acts 1:8
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Gentile." Romans 1:16
